A photo exhibition entitled "The Military in Scientific Development — Celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA)" sponsored by the General Political Department (GPD) of the PLA and hosted by the Publicity Department of the GPD of the PLA and the PLA Daily opened in the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution on July 29, 2012.
