American foodies have the opportunity to get a taste of the delicious traditional Shaanxi dishes in New York City from now to July 14th, 2012. The Tourism Administration of Shaanxi Province and China Tourism Agency in New York has jointly organized a Shaanxi food and cultural presentation evening this Thursday, officially kicking off the two-day Shaanxi tourism and delicious food show in New York City.
Mr. Li Baodong, Chinese ambassador to the United Nations, Mr. He Guangwei, member of the Standing Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Mr. Sun Guoxiang, General Consul of Chinese Consulate in New York attended the dinner event along with approximately 300 guests.
Called “China Travel – Shaanxi Tourism and Delicious Food Show”, the goal of this event is to strengthen the relationship between Shaanxi Province and the United States, while promoting traditional Shaanxi’s food and culture to Americans.
