Adapted from the Dr. Seuss tale, the 3D animated film "The Lorax" is set for mainland big screens on July 27, chinesefilms.cn reports.
The movie was made by the original production team from "Despicable Me". It was screened in North America this March, grabbing $70.7 million USD in its first week and breaking a cumulative marker of $300 million USD.
"The Lorax" will be shown in 3D and IMAX/3D formats on the mainland. Universal Pictures expects to earn a healthy box office profit in China with this flick.
