The spokesperson for the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) holds a press conference at the Great Hall of the People at 16:30, Nov. 7, 2012.
According to a communique issued by the Seventh Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee, the 18th CPC National Congress will be convened from Nov. 8 in Beijing.
The Party Congress will examine a report made by the 17th CPC Central Committee and an amendment to the CPC Constitution.
