The Arab League (AL) condemned Wednesday the "terrorist attack" over Al-Yarmouk Arms Factory Complex in Sudanese capital Khartoum a day earlier.
In its statement, the AL said it follows the current investigations, noting "consultations between AL Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi and Sudanese foreign minister over the required procedures to face the terrorist aggression are ongoing."
"An airstrike by four planes has attacked a factory in Khartoum Tuesday," spokesperson of the Sudanese government Ahmed Bilal said in a press statement Wednesday, adding that "the attack resulted in a partial destruction of the complex," according to Egypt's official news agency MENA.
"Israel is behind the attack," as "the attacking planes have used a highly sophisticated technology to avoid antiaircrafts," Bilal said.
However, on Wednesday, the Israeli Foreign Ministry claimed they have "absolutely no knowledge" about the allegations by Sudanese officials over Israel's involvement in a "mysterious" explosion of the ammunition plant in Khartoum.
