A man driving with his "left hand steering the wheel and right hand fondling a woman's breast" was snapshotted by express way surveillance camera for speeding. With the two persons' features and the licensed plate highly distinguishable, the image soon turned a hotspot after being posted on line.

Some netizens even identified the driver by human flesh searching. It was found the man was an executive surnamed Deng at Changhong Corp in Mianyang city, Sichuan province and the woman was a student. The driver's home address, ID number and other information were also exposed on the internet.

Meanwhile, some netizens disaprove with the "improper exposure". They posed such questions as who first published the photo on line and whether it infringes on citizen's privacy right. Netizen "zhufuwawa" said, "even though the driver breaks the rule, his privacy should be protected. People who released the photo should be punished."

Some netizens cited foreign countries' examples.

Netizen "Shendongjun" said, "in France, surveillances are forbidden from taking photo from the front of a car. They shoot from behind so as to protect the privacy of the people inside. Do China's police infringe on huamn right by taking photos head on? "

"Once a notice of running red light was sent to a driver's home and his wife found a lady sitting beside him before they got divorced. Since then, the surveillence takes photo from behind," another netizen "power_puff" cited an Australian case.

Other netizens disagree. "Yunmeng" said, "the driver's action was dangerous. It's not only a problem of ethics, his behavior also threats other people's safety. Privacy can not be an excuse. If one dares do such things in the car, he dares not exposure. "

Since the driver was identified as an employee of Changhong Corp, Liu Haizhong, spokesman of the company, posted a statement on his microblog that the company has neither an employee surnamed Deng nor a car with that plate.

The police of Mianyang city also published a declaration on their official microblog, pledging that they are going to track the source and examine the authenticity of the photo. They will publish the investigation result and the suspect will be punished once identified.
